Rebeccah Newcombe is an Ontario-born photographer with Nova Scotian roots.
This series of photographs was created during an extended visit to Nova Scotia in September, 2014 while touring the Cabot Trail, sampling a variety of oat cakes and carefully preserving delicate sea urchins. Living on the south shore she delighted in the gentle quality of light that is found in the area.
Photographs are printed on bamboo watercolour paper then framed with reclaimed maple slats and vegetable tanned leather straps.
All pieces have been sold.
